ADID

Our darling little Adid came to us a crotchety little bugger, peeved at the world! He has made so much progess that he charmed us all! We are pleased to promote him to Official Bed Troll.

We did not know that we needed a Bed Troll, but, we know that every dog needs a job, and Adid seems to relish the task. He situates himself at the foot of the bed and expresses an opinion on every dog that passes by. The first time we heard him bark, we were so perplexed at the baritone squeak that came out of him, we thought we had accidently started a duck rescue.

Adid's owner dumped this seven year old in a high kill animal control facility, probably because she did not appreciate Adid's quirky sense of humor. Owner surrendered dogs never fare well in the harsh shelter environment, and they have less time than strays before they are at risk for euthanasia. Adid received good behavior evaluations, despite his displeasure with his surroundings.

Chihuahuas are not for everyone, but devotees to this mighty little breed, are passionate about them. Adid will thrill his Chi loving adopter with his antics! Adid has the traditional Chihuahua look, with a tiny apple shaped head, bug eyes, pointy ears, and a long tail. His short coat is a stunning Liz Taylor blue-black, splashed with white markings.

Like most Chihuahuas, Adid takes time to warm to new people, and would be best suited to an active single or couple, who understand Chis, and will wait patiently for their Disney Moment. Adid will surely give it up as soon as he's comfortable. He is not the best choice for active families, with kids, but could easily join a multi-dog home, with other small dogs or cats. He has a bit of the Napoleon Complex with large dogs, and may get himself into trouble if not properly corrected.

Adid has good house manners and is crate trained and housetrained. He is well mannered when traveling, and he's not much of a barker. He would be the ideal apartment dog. Adid is tiny enough to travel anywhere, and is the perfect size for a Chihuahua tote bag or airline approved Sherpa bag.

Adid is neutered, has been vaccinated for rabies and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvo and parainfluenza). He has had the 4snap test, and is negative for heartworm, lyme, earlichia and anaplasmosis. He has been microchipped and dewormed. If you are interested in Adid, please write to denise@eskiesonline.com or call Denise at 720-903-0636 for more info.
