CALLIELittle Callie breaks the cuteness record! Her perky smile and sunny disposition have warmed our hearts. We can't fathom this cutie patootie, two year old, Long Hair Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix prancing through the mean city streets completely unescorted. Callie is the kind of privileged doll baby who should be riding in the back of her owner's white stretch limousine wearing a red velvet frock. |

Nonetheless, Sweet Callie was rudely snatched and transported to the Animal Control facility, where she underwent a rather undignified "poke and prod" by a shelter vet, who was in a hurry to make his way though the dozens upon dozens of new intakes each day. Callie behaved herself fairly well during her exam, and earned herself the top behavior rating. |
| Then she displayed stereotypical shelter stress behavior in her cage. Initially, shelter workers noted "cage aggression," but upon closer scrutiny, observers reported that Miss Callie was embroiled in a feverish argument with her own tail. Many a giggle was had at this silly little girl, chasing and snarling at her most glorious appendage , but sadly, Callie's goofy quirk was a manifestation of her shelter stress. |  |

Once she left shelter life behind, Callie seemed to relax and settle into foster care. She has been exposed to lots of different stimuli, including kids, cats, as well as other dogs and has done well. Callie is a very loving dog that could fit into any type of home nicely. |
| Callie is a well-behaved dog, who enjoys alot of human companionship. Weighing only 5 pounds, she is petite enough to accompany her people anywhere, and will certainly be the topic of conversation wherever she goes. She has excellent house manners and is housetrained and crate trained. Callie is a dream car passenger and would love to occupy a permanent perch in her fluffy car seat that is tall enough to give her full view of the the world as it whizzes by. |  |

Callie is in excellent health and at an ideal weight. She is spayed and has been vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, bordatella and canine influenza. She has been microchipped and de-wormed and is negative for heartworm, lyme, earlichia and anaplasmosis.
