ADOPTED

COCO

Wow! Our glamorous Coco is quite the showstopper, a regal Min Pin, who is clearly, "Queen of the Toys." Dignified, but gracious, Coco's personality is far from Divalicious. She is gentle, sweet and calm, and longs to connect with her special person. Coco has a touch of sadness in her soul, as it seems she misses her former home, where it seems she was well cared for.

A young 8 years old, Coco was abandoned in a high kill Animal Control shelter, where she faced an uncertain fate. After her two day hold expired, Coco had already caught the shelter kennel cough, and was excluded from the adoption program despite excellent behavior evaluations. Coco was shortlisted for euthanasia, when we were made aware of her plight. We just couldn't resist asking this Glamazon girl to join our country bumpkin rescue.

Coco is large and robust for a Miniature Pinscher. She is almost twice the breed standard height and weight, weighing 22 pounds. She gives the impression of a much larger dog, with magnificent presence and yet is extremely easy to handle. Coco's demeanor is very calm, and she would make a great choice for a first time dog owner, or first time Min Pin owner.

Coco is a mature adult dog, who is well past the puppy chaotic years. She has excellent house manners, and is not destructive at all. She could easily adapt to apartment life, with an active single or couple, who work a full day. Coco is beautifully crate trained and would do well on her own while her owners are at work. She is extremely well mannered, and not much of a barker.

Coco could also join the laid back family with older kids, who are gentle in their interactions with a canine companion. Coco may be too timid to stand up to the raucous play of toddlers, but would welcome the gentle attention of older kids and teens. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, and could easily join a multi-animal home.

Coco is in excellent health and has been spayed. She has been vaccinated for rabies and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvo and parainfluenza). She has had the 4dx test, and is negative for heartworm, lyme, earlichia and anaplasmosis. She has been dewormed, and had a negative fecal test.
