DILLY

Our pup, Dilly, has had the best possible upbringing that we could provide. He was born 8/4/22 at our Connecticut Rescue, just two weeks after we pulled his Mama, Bonita, from NYCACC.  Bonita was pregnant when NY Animal Control Officers found her tied to a gate in Brooklyn. After five days, she was transferred to us for whelping. 

Bonita was the ideal Mama, and her nine pups have thrived. The pups were weaned effortlessly, and have been well socialized since birth. At 13 weeks old, Dilly and his siblings are ready to meet their forever families.  

Dilly is one of the smallest males in the litter, at 11 pounds, and he loves to hear the sound of his own voice. He is easily distracted by puppy hijinks and quickly forgets mealtime if a game of tug-o-war is afoot. He is a gentle soul that is often pushed around in the pack, but he can hold his own.  Dilly is extremely affectionate, and loves to climb into his foster mom's hair. 

Dilly's Mama, Bonita, is a 40 pound, medium sized mixed breed dog. We just received the DNA test results on the pups and were not surprized to find American Staffordshire Terrier as the predominat breed, with just a smidgen of Border Collie from some great grand parent, to add those super-smart herding genes to the mix. Bonita is a robust, high energy girl, so we project that her pups will be 40 to 50 pounds with muscular physiques. Dilly has beautiful brindle coloring with distinctive white markings. 

Dilly is in excellent health and has been fully vaccinated and dewormed. Our Adoption Agreement requires that he be neutered, with proof provided, by 9 months of age.  If you are interested in Thyme, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.
