JAY JAYOur Jay Jay is an adorable, tri-color Jack Russell Terrier mix, who at 2 years of age, has just lost his home. It appears that his owners gave up on him and left him forlorn in an overcrowded animal control facility where he was going to be euthanized due to space issues. |

Jay Jay's owners did not do him justice at all. He is a sweet-natured pup, with a moderate energy level, who would do well with a couple of vigorous leash walks per day. He has not had the benefit of any obedience work, so adopters should be willing to implement a program of leadership and positive reinforcement training to bring out the best behavior in Jay Jay. |
| Jay Jay is pretty low key for a JRT pup. He has not displayed any destructive tendencies and is an alert barker, but not a nuisance barker. He would do well in a moderately active home with another dog and older kids. Jay Jay loves attention, although, at first, he will take a bit of time to warm up to new people. | ![]() |

Jay Jay is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. He is an excellent car passenger, and loves big car rides. Sixteen pounds, he is small enough to travel easily. He is in excellent health: neutered, vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, bordatella, and has been dewormed and microchipped. Also, he has tested negative for heartworm/lyme/earlichia/anaplasmosis, and is on appropriate prevention. |
