JOJOOur big baby, JoJo, is a big ball of puppy love! This pretty 8 month old Mastiff/Great Dane mix has a familiar story. JoJo was a city stray...a statistic....on the short list for Euthanasia....another potential casualty of the ongoing urban stray dog population problem.

| JoJo had alot of dedicated shelter staff and volunteers pulling for her, and eventually she was brought to our attention. This sweetie has charmed everyone she has met and we are tickled to have her with us. We are so pleased with her sparkling personality. |  |
| JoJo has adapted beautifully to her new foster home and seems to revel in every scrap of attention and affection that she receives. She is friendly, extemely loving, and completely guileless when it comes to stranger danger. Jojo would be an ideal family dog, and she would be sure to give each family member a big, wet kiss! |  |

JoJo could join any active home of a single, couple or family who have the time and focus to train a young pup. She has had no formal obedience training, but she is highly food and praise motivated so training would be a snap. We'd trust JoJo with older kids, but she may overwhelm toddlers with her high energy play. She could easily join an active home in which her exercise needs are met. JoJo needs a good deal of vigorous leash walking and focused play time, in addition to a structured obedience regimen. |
| JoJo loves to play with other high energy dogs, and will engage in kind hearted play with cats, but she may well overwhelm small breeds and skittish cats. Her house manners are good for a young pup, and she has progressed nicely on her housetraining. JoJo is also crate trained so adopters will be able to use that option. |  |

JoJo is in excellent health, and has just been spayed. She is at a healthy weight of 50 pounds and may grow a bit more. She doesn't seem to have grown into her feet. She has been vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, bordatella and canine influenza. She has been microchipped and de-wormed and is negative for heartworm, lyme, earlichia and anaplasmosis.
