Not all dogs enjoy frantic kid affection, so we placed Neno with an active senior and the match seemed made in heaven. When unforeseen health issues required Neno’s adopter to move in with family, the kid issue again came into play. |
At 9 years old, Neno is ready for his third act in a quiet, calm adult home where he can unwind and be himself. Neno is a medium energy dog, who would prefer a quiet vibe. He could easily thrive in a serene adult home with other mellow dogs. |

It seems to us that Neno is a comical mix of Dachshund and Chihuahua, a Chiweenie! He has a stout physique, slightly elongated spine and half mast, floppy ears. He is a splendid looking, muscular dog at just 17 pounds. He has a fantastic presence for a small dog. |
Neno has good house manners and is house trained and crate trained. Adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that will inevitably occur during his transition to a new home. He is in optimal health, and has been neutered. He has received routine vaccinations and health screenings. |
