Precious is full of personality and panache...and a tad picky about the humans who garner her affections. Five years old, this statuesque beauty has been dumped twice...and found herself in an urban Animal Control facility awaiting rescue.

Precious is a beautiful, full size standard American Eskimo, weighing about 30 pounds. She has blossomed beautifully in foster care, and has delighted her foster family with her antics. She seems to prefer women, but a gentle, patient man will reap lots of Eskie rewards once Precious relaxes into her new home. |
| She is not overly trusting of people, and adopters will need patience to allow Precious time to warm up. Experienced Eskie people will appreciate the Eskie kisses once they come! Night One of her adoption, Precious will most likely hide behind the toilet, so Adopters will want to leave her leash on so that she can be easily coaxed out of her safety zone. |  |

Precious has excellent house manners and is housetrained and crate trained. She travels well in the car, and loves her big car rides. She had done well in a small group of dogs and is shy enough to respect the limits of cats. We'd like to see Precious blossom with an active couple or a single who enjoys the process of bringing a rescue dog back from confusion and distress. Precious is not showing signs of abuse, but she is skittish and confused from having been bounced around in the rescue process. She needs exercise and good leadership to restore her balance. |
| Precious is in excellent health. She is spayed, has been vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper and bordatella, and is microchipped and de-wormed. She has tested negative for heartworm/lyme/earlichia/anaplasmosis and is one preventatives.
