PRINCESS

Princess is breaking my heart! She is one of the most stunning Miniature Pinschers that I have ever seen, and I am fighting the temptation to hijack her! But, no, she deserves a home of her own, with fewer dogs to compete for attention.

Princess is the beauty queen of the three Min Pins that recently came to us from a haphazard, illegal breeding operation in a Brooklyn Housing Project. The pack had not been well socialized, and we have been taking every opportunity to expose Princess to the sights and sounds of the real world. She has really come out of her shell, and her bon vivant personality is forming nicely, now that she is in foster care away from her pack.

Princess is a bit of an "alpha wannabee," in that she will assume her place in the pack and thumb her nose at those she perceives below her. She is not kid friendly and would not be a good choice for families because she will play favorites and alienate the kids.

Princess can be suspicious of strangers, but her need for attention and affection overcomes that suspicion in short order. Princess cannot stand to be ignored! For Min Pin lovers who are used to this kind of quirkiness, Princess is a Dreamgirl. She is naturally submissive and easy to train, so we are seeking an adopter willing to provide structure and discipline. In the hands of someone who understands dog psychology, and will follow through on obedience work, Princess will blossom into her greatest potential.

Princess has excellent house manners. She is house trained and crate trained. She is great with other dogs and cats, and is an excellent car passenger. Weighing 9 pounds, Princess is easily transported anywhere. Princess is a two year old youngster and is in excellent health. She is now spayed, has been vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, bordatella, and has been dewormed and microchipped. Also, she has tested negative for heartworm/lyme/earlichia/anaplasmosis, and is on appropriate prevention.
