PRINCESSWhat a darling girl our little Princess is! She is one of the latest of Min Pin/Chihuahua mixes that we have seen dumped in our favorite big city pound. While we love her impish, cutie patootie look, we'd love this particular breeder to knock it off...at least until we can catch up. |
| Miss Prin is just about four years old and has some of the most luminous, soulful brown eyes ever. She has a pretty black and carmel colored coat, and she has natural ears and tail. At first meeting, Princess is extremely shy, but once she warms up she becomes extremely warm and loving. Adopters will need about two to three days of patience to wait for their Disney moment with Princess, but when it comes, it will be a doozy. She is a lovable little angel. | ![]() |

Princess would do well with an active couple or single, who enjoy incorporating their pets into their lives with walks, hiking, etc. She is a medium energy dog, so a couple of leash walks will suffice for her exercise routine. Princess also likes a lot of attention and playtime. She will easily and quickly bond with her adult adopters, but will be overwhelmed in a busy family environment with lots of kid traffic. |
| Princess is extremely shy around strangers so adopters will need to encourage family and friends to allow her time to warm up, without pressing her for affection. In time, consistent socialization will improve this shyness, but, at the beginning, adopters should be patient. Princess gets along well with other dogs and is mild mannered enough to co-exist with a dog savvy cat. She would be a great addition to a multi dog/cat household. | ![]() |

Princess has had no formal obedience work, but is responding nicely to the basics in foster care. She is easy to manage on leash, and rides well in the car. Weighing ten pounds, she is small enough to travel anywhere. Princess is housetrained and crate trained, but adopters should expect the reinforcement of housetraining protocal to be a given with any rescue dog. Prin may well have an accident or two during her transition to her forever home....que sera sera. |
| Princess is in excellent health. She is spayed, up to date on rabies, parvo, distemper, and bordatella shots, and is microchipped and de-wormed. She has tested negative for heartworm/lyme/earlichia/anaplasmosis.
