VON MILLER

Von Miller sat huddled in the corner of his oversized kennel at a large Municipal Animal Control facility during our walk through to collect two other dogs that we had been called about. He seemed shut down and forlorn, and we could not get his sad mug out of our minds. So, we followed up after Von Miller's stray hold expired, and our shelter contact was thrilled to send him to us, since he had not perked up enough to show well in their adoption program.

Von Miller appeared shy and fearful at first, but came out of his shell in no time, and has completely blossomed in foster care. He has made himself at home admist a 3 dog pack consisting of 2 Chihuahuas and a Siberian Husky. Von Miller is great with other small dogs, but intimidated by much larger dogs. He has gotten along well with both adults and the older child in the foster home, and has earned sleeping privileges with the youngster.

Weighing only seven pounds, Von Miller is a petite squirt. He appears to be predominantly Papillion, and has the characteristic "Butterfly" ears, as well as a black and white patch coat. His build is slight, with long legs and a plume tail. He is slightly underweight and could stand to gain half a pound or so, through a nutrient dense, grain free diet, loaded with antioxidents, quality protein and omega fats.
