WOBBLESWobbles was our resident sad sack....albeit a sad sack with considerable joie de vivre. He was found asleep in a pile of leaves in the front yard of some New Jersey good Samaritans, who took him in. Wobbles was a mess....flea and tick infested, matted and emaciated, he had a collar and a piece of cable attached to his neck, indicating an escape from heaven knows where. |
| The sisters phoned Animal Control and received no response, so they phoned their vet Dr. Christopher Keefe, who happens to be our New Jersey rescue vet, and badda bing, Wobbles is now with Diane, our New Jersey foster mom. He came to Diane's home over Thanksgiving and has made the transition from wanderer to pampered pooch quite well. | ![]() |

Wobbles is a friendly boy, who earned his humorous moniker because he was a bit "wobbly" on his feet after missing a few meals. Diane had Dr. Keefe examine Wobbles after his grooming, and he has been given a clean bill of health, except for a mild case of lyme, which has been treated with a standard course of antibiotics. Now Wobbles' coat, once ravaged by malnutrition and the elements, has been restored to its proper Eskie glory. |
| Dr. Keefe estimated Wobbles to be 8 years old. He is a pretty, standard Eskie, weighing around 25 pounds, and has excellent house manners. He is house trained and leash trained, and enjoys his car rides. Wobbles would be an exceptional companion dog for a medium to low energy family in need of a special boy to fuss over. Wobbles is highly appreciative of all human attention. He enjoys the company of other dogs and Eskie kid-testing specialist, James. | ![]() |
